The short version

Hao Directory has no user accounts and does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your favorites and settings are saved with your browser's local storage on your own device and are never sent to us.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) for security and basic traffic statistics. Logs are kept for a limited time and are not sold or shared.

Third-party services

Website icons are loaded from Google's public favicon service, and searches are sent directly to the search provider you choose (for example Google, Bing or Yahoo). Those services have their own privacy policies. Links on Hao Directory take you to other websites that we do not control.

Children

Hao Directory is a general-audience directory and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
